Don’t wait until it’s dirty

Tuesday evening I got to help with cleaning the Provo City Center temple. I was impressed with how thorough we were instructed to clean, considering it’s cleaned to the same extent every day! One of my ward members commented on that, and a temple janitorial employee responded:

“We don’t wait until the temple gets dirty to clean it. We keep it clean.”

What a wonderful analogy for our lives. How about viewing our bodies as temples, and striving to keep them clean — spiritually and physically — rather than worrying about making them clean again after getting dirty? That’s something I’d like to do :)

My HWN this week was pondering on this analogy for a clean life :)

Also, I had a fun Sunday dinner tonight with homemade curry!
